A decade of photographing places, now spent finding them
Rivka Zerbib helps buyers and sellers across Emerald Hills, Hollywood Hills and greater Hollywood, Florida.
Before real estate
From 2013 to 2024 Rivka wrote and photographed a style and travel journal, published in both English and Hebrew, that followed her between New York, Israel and South Florida. If you have arrived here from one of those old posts, this is where that work now lives.
Ten years of shooting interiors, streets and light taught her something that turns out to matter enormously in real estate: how a place is seen decides how it is valued. Most listings are photographed badly. That is a solvable problem, and it is the first thing she fixes.
The bilingual half matters too. Hollywood has a large Israeli and Orthodox community, and moving countries is not the same transaction as moving suburbs. She handles both sides of that in Hebrew or English, whichever is easier for you, and knows which streets put a family inside a walk to shul rather than near one on a map.
How she works
One agent, start to finish. The number on this site reaches Rivka herself, and she stays with you from the first call through to the closing.
She keeps to a few neighborhoods and knows them closely, which is what lets her answer a question about one street rather than one city. Emerald Hills and Hollywood Hills are where she spends her time, and where she can tell you what a block is really like to live on.
Questions people ask first
Which areas does Rivka cover?
Emerald Hills and Hollywood Hills primarily, and greater Hollywood more broadly. Hollywood Lakes, Beverly Park, North Central and North Beach are all areas she works. The neighborhood pages list every one of them, with how far each sits from Emerald Hills.
Which Hollywood neighborhood suits an Orthodox family?
Emerald Hills, for most families, because the shuls and the kosher markets are inside it or on Stirling Road along its southern edge. Which street matters as much as which neighborhood, since the area runs from Stirling Road up to Sheridan Street and the walk is different at either end. Rivka works these streets and can tell you what a specific address commits you to.
Does she work with both buyers and sellers?
Yes. Sellers get pricing, preparation and photography handled properly. Buyers get someone who knows the individual streets, not just the general area.
Does she speak Hebrew?
Yes. Hebrew or English, whichever you prefer, including for the parts of a move that are harder to explain in a second language.
What happened to the old blog?
It ran from 2013 to 2024 and is no longer being updated. Its images are still online, and old links now bring you here.
